1. Acceptance

By installing the Lume Chrome extension, using the Telegram bot @LumepriceBot, or visiting withlume.org (together, the «Service»), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. What Lume does

Lume is a free price tracking service. We read product information from public product pages on online stores and store the price history in our database. We then show you that history, find the same product at other stores, and (optionally) notify you when the price drops. We don't sell products and we are not a marketplace or intermediary in any purchase.

3. No price accuracy guarantee

We do our best to keep price data accurate, but the Service is provided «as is». Prices may be outdated, captured incorrectly, in the wrong currency, or otherwise misleading. Always verify the price at the seller's site before making a purchase. We are not liable for any financial loss caused by relying on price data shown by the Service.

4. Affiliate links

Some outgoing «Buy» links on the site, in the extension, and in the bot are wrapped with affiliate trackers. If you purchase through such a link, the store may pay us a small commission. This does not change the price you pay. Affiliate revenue helps cover server costs. Affiliate relationships do not influence which stores appear in comparison results.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You will not:

• Scrape, copy, or republish our price database without written permission;
• Send abusive, spam, or automated requests at a rate that disrupts service for other users;
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law.

6. Availability

The Service is a free, self-funded project. We don't guarantee uptime, response time, or any specific feature being available. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may also suspend or terminate access if a user violates these Terms.

7. Privacy

Use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we use it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by applicable law, Lume and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service - including but not limited to overpayment, missed discounts, lost time, or third-party purchases. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the «Last updated» date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
